3-Month Internship At Crown

The Crown Grooming Club Precision Cutting Internship is designed to develop disciplined, detail oriented barbers through structured education rooted in shape theory, technical control, and professional standards.

Our mission is to train barbers who understand structure before speed, intention before repetition, and precision before popularity. Interns will learn how to see shape, control weight, execute clean fades, and refine details while upholding the culture, professionalism, and client experience that define Crown Grooming Club.

What You’ll Learn

The program begins with orientation to Crown’s culture, client experience standards, and expectations. Interns learn essential technical fundamentals such as comb and shear control, body positioning, sectioning, and consultation skills while integrating into daily shop operations.

Foundations & Shop Integration

Interns are trained in the three foundational haircut shapes—square, round, and triangle—and learn how elevation, sectioning, and overdirection control weight and silhouette. These concepts are applied through layering and graduation techniques on mannequins and models.

Haircut Structure & Technical Systems

The final phase introduces texturizing, razor work, styling, fades, scissor-over-comb blending, and finishing details. The program concludes with a practical exam where interns demonstrate their ability to execute Crown’s core haircut systems on a live model.
